Handshake teams up with the Institute of Student Employers for a second year

February 23, 2022

The team at Handshake is delighted to announce that its collaboration with the Institute of Student Employers (ISE) is continuing for a second year.

The ISE is an independent, not-for-profit member organisation which has established itself as the UK’s leading independent voice for student employers. Handshake will continue to be an integral part of its mission to power collaboration in the sector - bringing together employers, the education sector and technology leaders to provide insight and support in all aspects of student recruitment and development.

As an ISE partner, the Handshake team will benefit from extensive insights from employers of all sizes. In turn, Handshake will provide the ISE with its experiences of the priorities and challenges for university Careers Services and their students, together with unique insight into the technological development which is powering the future of graduate recruitment.

Chris Anthony, Head of Employer Partnerships at Handshake UK says: “We share a crucial ambition with the ISE - for a more equitable graduate employment landscape, where students from all walks of life can secure meaningful long-term employment. We’ve already done so much together, and look forward to our fruitful partnership continuing throughout 2022 and beyond.”

The latest joint activity for the two organisations is a co-authored report into Careers Services of the future ‘Careers2032’, working together with several other prominent organisations to imagine the future of the sector. Read the full report here.

Also, the research partners are running a series of LIVE events across the country during March to discuss how the sector can apply the findings to create a “roadmap to change”. If you’d like to be part of shaping the future of practice in outreach, recruitment, and retention of graduates, please register here.

Finally look out for Handshake at the ISE Student Recruitment Conference 2022 in June, where we’ll share our insights and continue the Careers2032 conversation.
